“Together we can do more”

Building on the success of a financial instrument created for a 2007-2013 pilot, the Polish National Fund for Social Entrepreneurship (NFSE) – set up in the 2014-2020 period with €37 million – is helping to protect hundreds of social economy enterprises all over the country. RAZEM (meaning “together” in Polish), an association that supports 200 children and young people with mental and physical disabilities, was fortunate enough to be able to rely on the fund’s support at a difficult time.

BGK: Financing the foundations of social inclusion

Thanks to financial instruments financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) — the Polish Development Bank — supports the development of cooperatives, foundations, associations and other social economy entities created by people at risk of exclusion and employing individuals from disadvantaged groups: seniors, persons with disability or at risk of exclusion.

United for success thanks to an EMFF financial instrument loan

Thanks to two loans backed by the 2014-2020 European Maritime and Fisheries Fund Financial Instrument, three former competitors in the Baltic fishing and fish processing industry have joined forces and invested in a modern plant that gives fish remains a second life.
