After a brief hiatus, the fi-compass team is happy to announce the return of the Showcase Award 2023! Could you be the winner waiting in the wings to raise the Showcase trophy high at our upcoming FI Campus event?
Submissions are now open! The fi-compass Showcase offers financial instruments practitioners a unique opportunity to share and promote their financial instrument success stories within the fi-compass community. Every day, hundreds of projects from across the EU are financed thanks to EU shared management financial instruments, and we want to shine a spotlight on them!
How can I participate?
It’s easy! Grab your camera or mobile phone and show us the impact of your financial instruments on the ground. Participation in the Showcase 2023 is open to all fi-compass stakeholders: managing authorities, intermediate bodies, funds of funds, financial intermediaries, final recipients and any other stakeholders involved in financial instruments under EU shared management (ERDF, EAFRD, ESF+, EMFAF and AMIF).
The theme of this year’s showcase is ‘Financing a sustainable and inclusive Europe’. Submissions should highlight how financial instruments have played a key role in supporting businesses and EU citizens to invest in the economic and social development of their regions.
Your contribution can take one of the following forms:
- A short video story (duration of 1-7 minutes);
- A photo story (3-10 pictures) accompanied by a short 300 word article; or
- An infographic or poster.
Once happy with your finished product, send your contribution to showcase23@fi-compass.eu. All submissions should be in English or in a national language, with an English translation or subtitles.
Here comes an important part! The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, 31 January 2023.
What’s next?
Once received, the fi-compass team will share all submissions on a dedicated page on the fi-compass website as well as on our social media. Don’t forget to also share your contribution within your own social network, making sure to tag @ficompass!
A panel of fi-compass and European Commission experts will then select up to ten contributions to be included in the shortlist for the award. The shortlisted submissions will be presented at the FI Campus event in Brussels on 13-15 March 2023, where attendees will be invited to vote for their favourite project.
The three success stories with the most votes will walk away with the fi-compass Showcase 2023 trophy!
