Ex-ante assessment - Quick reference guide

This document is a quick reference guide that provides a compact and accessible explanatory overview of the scope and content of the ex-ante assessment and the main methodological steps to comply with the requirements of Article 37 (2) of the Common provisions regulation. While largely following the structure of the General Methodology (Vol. I), this quick reference guide has been developed to help managing authorities intending to implement financial instruments to readily access the information they need on different aspects of the ex-ante assessment without necessarily delving into the greater level of detail or examples encompassed in the five volumes of the general and specific methodologies.
