The European Commission and the European Investment Bank are organising the fifth edition of fi-compass flagship event FI Campus 2024. The event will take place on Tuesday 25, Wednesday 26, Thursday 27 June 2024, in Brussels.
The event brings together practitioners and experts from: managing authorities of EU shared management funds, bodies implementing financial instruments, European Commission, European Investment Bank Group and other stakeholders.

‘Audit of financial instruments in the 2021-2027 programming period’ webinar
The webinar shared the key topics on the new audit methodology published by the European Commission for the audit of financial instruments in the 2021-2027 programming period: introduction to the new audit methodology, system audits, audit and control of design and set up of FI, verification that expenditure will be for eligible purposes, payments – avoiding the assurance gap and sampling.
ERDF Equity for Innovation 2021-2027
Equity and quasi-equity instruments under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) are potential financial tools to support the VC ecosystem in the Member States and regions, and to enable the growth of the EU’s innovative companies in their entire funding lifecycle. The workshop was an opportunity for participants to listen to examples from various Member States, such as the example of the 2014-2020 ERDF EquiFund in Greece.
